Recently, the 2024 People's Education Edition Primary and Secondary Textbook Printing Quality Work Conference was held in Nanjing, Jiangsu.
The conference commended the advanced units in printing quality management for the 2024 People's Education Edition primary and secondary textbooks. Hunan Publishing Center, a subsidiary of Central South Media, won the Gold Award for Advanced Unit in Printing Quality Management for 2024, achieving "five consecutive championships".
This year is the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, a crucial year for advancing the "14th Five-Year Plan", and also a key year for the re-adoption of new standard compulsory education textbooks. In the selection for the 2024 People's Education Edition Advanced Unit in Printing Quality Management for Primary and Secondary School Textbooks, 1 gold award, 3 silver awards, and 5 bronze awards were selected.
Among them, Hunan Publishing Center ranked among the top in eight aspects including textbook quality inspection results, public opinion influence, daily monitoring, third-party random inspection, departmental construction, management certification, offline detection, and online detection, and won the 2024 People's Education Edition Primary and Secondary Textbook Printing Quality Management Advanced Unit Gold Award. This is the second consecutive championship since achieving "four consecutive championships" in 2023, and it is also the first championship after the People's Education Press implemented market sample inspection and adopted a new evaluation scheme this year.
